All vehicle rentals are governed by a Rental Agreement provided upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle pickup. This document outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance provisions, fees, and your obligations related to the rental. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the terms within the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria
To rent a vehicle, you need:

Full payment along with a security deposit is typically required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT as applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, ensuring secure transactions through trusted payment processors.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection, a thorough inspection is required to identify any pre-existing damage. It is essential to report any findings immediately. A vehicle condition report will be created and signed at this point. When returning the vehicle, it should be in the same condition as when it was collected, taking into account normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated, and charges will apply accordingly. The vehicle must also be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental. Transporting hazardous materials is strictly prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden. Adhere to passenger and weight limits, and avoid operating outside designated geographical areas without prior approval.
Breach of terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed under English and Welsh law, Car Hire Dover disclaims any liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, stemming from your use of our services. Our total financial responsibility for any claims is limited to the rental amount paid in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraudulent actions.
